Privacy Policy

If you request a price through the form or WhatsApp, you give me a few pieces of information: your name, phone number, town and a description of the job. On this page you can read exactly what I do with that, who else sees it, and what you can decide for yourself.

Who is responsible for your data

Sterk Stukadoor is the sole proprietorship of Osman, based in Gorinchem under KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) number 95428216. I am personally responsible for the data that comes in through this website. I work from home, so you won’t find a street address here, only Gorinchem and my work area. What data I collect

Through the enquiry form I ask for your name, phone number, the location of the job and a description. You only send photos if you choose to. If you go with WhatsApp, I see the number you’re messaging from and what you write. Beyond that, my website measures visitor behaviour, without me knowing who you are. How that works exactly, you can read below under visit statistics.

What happens to your enquiry

An enquiry comes in through the technology built by Tielo Digital, who build and maintain my website. They process your data on my behalf, solely to get your enquiry to me, and don’t use it for anything else. After that, your enquiry lands with me and I reply myself. If you choose WhatsApp, that opens a conversation in the WhatsApp app itself. That message runs through WhatsApp, and I only use it to help you further.

How I measure visits to my website

I measure visits with PostHog, with servers in the European Union. On your first visit I ask for consent for cookies. If you agree, I recognise you on a later visit. If you decline, your visit still counts, but without a cookie and without me recognising you. Either way, I don’t see a name or an address, and I don’t share anything with advertisers.

Do I share your data with others

I don’t sell your data. I only share it with Tielo Digital, for the technology behind my website, and with PostHog, for the visit statistics. Agreements are in place with both parties about what they may and may not do. Beyond that, I don’t share anything, unless the law requires me to.

How long I keep your data

I keep your data for as long as needed to answer your enquiry and, if the job goes ahead, to see it through properly. If your message doesn’t lead anywhere, I delete it as soon as I no longer need it.

What are your rights

You can request which data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how I use it. Email sterkstukadoor@gmail.com for that. If we can’t work it out together, you can turn to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
