My Work Area:Gorinchem, Dordrecht, Utrecht, Brabant

I work from Gorinchem, but I don’t only climb ladders on my own street. I plaster and paint across the wider region: close by in the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden, and further out towards the Drechtsteden, western and central Brabant, and the southern part of Utrecht province. Below you can read where I come, and roughly how far that is.

Wherever I go, I do the same work: plastering walls and ceilings, rendering facades, repairing cracks and holes, and painting inside or outside. Whether it’s a single wall or a whole house, the distance doesn’t change how I approach a job. What does change is how quickly I can get there, and that’s what you’ll find below, region by region.

Gorinchem, the Alblasserwaard and Vijfheerenlanden

Gorinchem is my home base, so this is where you’ll find me most. In the city I plastered a 68 square metre living room ceiling, from bare concrete to a flat surface. Niel from Gorinchem put it in his own words: “Werkt echt super nauwkeurig en netjes, hij heeft bij mij een prachtige plafond afgeleverd. Een echte vakman en zeer aardig en vriendelijk. Top! Van harte aan te bevelen!”

Beyond that I drive without a second thought. Leerdam is about 20 kilometres away, Sliedrecht about 15, and I’ve also worked in Streefkerk, Nieuwendijk and Culemborg. A customer from Streefkerk kept it short: “Super strak en mooi. Heel blij mee! Netjes gewerkt en glad achtergelaten. En heel vriendelijk! Aanrader.” Whether it’s a whole living room or a single wall that needs plastering, ready for paint, I can usually plan you in the same day or the next.

Dordrecht and the Drechtsteden

Dordrecht is about 40 kilometres away, 35 minutes’ drive, and I come there regularly. I’ve also worked in Strijen, Klaaswaal and Schiedam, from repairing cracks to plastering whole walls. Many of these houses are a bit older, which often means a crack above a door, or a wall due for a fresh layer after years of wear.

Utrecht and Nieuwegein

Utrecht, about 40 kilometres away, is the furthest city I come to regularly, usually around 40 minutes’ drive. Nieuwegein is closer, about 30 kilometres, and I’ve also done jobs in Veenendaal and Amersfoort.

Kees from Nieuwegein says: “Na 2 dagen kwam Osman onze badkamer al opnieuw stucen. Hij heeft heel netjes werk geleverd en wij zijn dan ook dik tevreden.” Live in Utrecht or the region around it? Just send me a message. A bathroom, a ceiling, or a whole floor, I drive there just as happily as to a job round the corner.

Western and Central Brabant

I’m also well known in Brabant. Breda is about 40 kilometres away, Tilburg about 50, and I drive to both in three quarters of an hour to an hour. Along the way I also work in Goirle, Moergestel and Den Bosch, in new-build and existing houses.

Peter from Breda wrote afterwards: “Vriendelijk en zeer beleefd persoon, harde en snelle werker. Levert kwaliteit. Ik ben zeer tevreden over het resultaat.” I get that kind of feedback right across Brabant, from a small repair to a facade rendered from top to bottom.

Just outside this area?

This isn’t a hard boundary. I’ve been driving this region for almost twenty years, and I judge each job on its own: a big job justifies a longer drive, and a small repair fits in if the route takes me that way anyway.
